LTC-Plymouth Science & Technology Center unveiled

The Year in Business: Signs of life County's economy picks up a bit in 2011

It wasn't always smooth, but the Sheboygan County economy continued to show signs of life in 2011.  Area employers continued to slowly add jobs, which helped bring Sheboygan's unemployment rate down to its lowest level in nearly three years and for the first time since the recession took hold, the year passed without any large-scale layoffs or factory closures.
