There are several organizations in Wisconsin dedicated to providing certain constituencies with financing.  Below is a list of these organizations. 

Public Finance Authority (PFA)

Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority (WHEDA)
The Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority makes loan guarantees for several types of loans, specializing in:

  • Downtown buildings
  • Agribusinesses
  • Revolving Lines of Credit for Contractors who received a large contract

Wisconsin Health and Educational Facility Authority (WHEFA)
The Wisconsin Health and Educational Facility Authority helps for-profit and non-profit organizations obtain private financing.  WHEFA specializes in organizations that are private education institutions, extended care facilities, and nonprofit research facilities.
