Business finds niche with entrepreneurs
In many businesses, entrepreneurs find themselves doing everything. From accounting to marketing and everything in between, there is a struggle to keep expenses low and maximize resources.
In 2010, Denise Reince Gonzales, owner of Tri-County Business Solutions (www.tricountywi.com), noticed that there was a need for a business that would provide assistance at an affordable rate.
She met with SCORE’s Small Business Administration partner, the Small Business Development Center, at the Business and Manufacturing Center at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College after losing a corporate job.
“I had been downsized twice and saw there was an unfilled niche for a business that would provide administrative assistance,” Gonzales said. “I went to SBDC and presented the idea. I was afraid that counselor Chuck Brys might fall off his chair laughing, but he thought it was a good idea and encouraged me.”
