Demolished: Developer, City Hope Site More Attractive After Tear-Down

Work is under way to raze the former J.J. Koepsell building near downtown Sheboygan in hopes of luring a new developer to what city officials believe is a prime commercial site along the Sheboygan River.

Demolition of the empty four-story factory at 1010 S. Ninth St., next door to the Highland House restaurant, should be completed by the end of the month, with final site restoration work wrapping up in November, city officials say.
