Efforts seem successful for Dairy Farmers of America to remain in area

PLYMOUTH The recent approval of local assistance from the city of Plymouth and the state of Wisconsin to support Dairy Farmers of America, Inc.’s (DFA) investment in machinery and continued operations in Plymouth was a coordinated effort between many project partners. The Sheboygan County Economic Development Corporation (SCEDC) worked closely with DFA officials and their tax advisory and consulting firm, Ryan, the city of Plymouth, Wisconsin Department of Commerce, Lakeshore Technical College, and others to arrive at a meaningful assistance package which met the needs of the company and will likely result in DFA’s continued operations in Sheboygan County.
