More condos? Sheboygan-area market is ripe, report says
SHEBOYGAN - Sheboygan needs more condos.
Specifically, the county could use as many as 324 more condominium units over the next five years, according to a study commissioned recently by the Sheboygan County Economic Development Corporation and the City of Sheboygan.
The study, whose findings were detailed Wednesday in a brief report by the economic group, recommends developing half of those new units in either downtown Sheboygan or along the city’s riverfront — a move that one local economic development official said could eventually spur even more growth in Sheboygan.
