Plymouth-to-Kohler rail line received $17.1M in state financing
State transportation officials on Tuesday awarded $17.1 million in financing for a long-delayed project to rebuild a freight rail line connecting Plymouth and Kohler.
Local officials said the state funds will allow construction to begin next spring on the nearly 11-mile line, which has been out of service for more than two decades. The project is expected to be completed by late 2014.
