The U.S. Department of Agriculture has approved a state request to grant natural-disaster designations for Sheboygan County and 23 other Wisconsin counties where excessive rain and snow resulted in crop losses...

With the disaster designation, farmers who meet certain requirements are eligible for assistance, including emergency loans. Loan applications are judged based on the extent of losses and the farmer’s ability to repay the loan.
