Sheboygan, WI – Old World Creamery, an affiliate of Weyauwega Cheese, has been processing butter in their plant located at 1606 Erie Ave. in Sheboygan since last fall. The plant serves as the headquarters for their newly formed butter processing operation.  Current products include Sheboygan’s Old World Butter, now available at many local retailers, as well as distributed in Woodman’s Grocery Stores.

The company will hold a job fair this Tuesday and Wednesday, August 15 and 16 from 10AM to 3PM. Entry level positions will begin at between $16 per hour plus shift premium, based upon skill level, plus benefits. The company is also adding positions for maintenance.

Old World Creamery is providing prospective employees the opportunity to visit the plant and submit their application in person. “Too often, it seems, a prospective employee is forced to apply for a new career on the internet,” stated Weyauwega Cheese Managing Member Steve Knaus. “We want to give potential new associates an opportunity to meet us in person, as well as complete a paper application”.

Old World Creamery offers a competitive wage, health insurance, 401 K retirement plan and both paid vacation and holidays.  The company is an equal opportunity employer.
