Sheboygan Job Center
Located in Sheboygan, the Job Center is a public and private sector employment and training partnership committed to advancing the economic well-being of the county and building a quality work force through integration of training, education and economic development services for job seekers, workers and employers.
Lakeshore Technical College
LTC's Workforce Solutions Division is committed to providing your company with on- and off-campus customized, flexible, contract training, seminars, and consulting services that meet your needs as well as the changing needs of your workforce. LTC offers training 24 hours a day, seven days a week, in a variety of delivery formats. LTC can also provide assistance in applying for a Wisconsin Technical College System Workforce Advancement Training (WAT) grant. According to Lakeshore Technical College, the WAT grant could cover up to one-hundred percent (100%) of actual training costs, if training is needed or desired. UW-Sheboygan Center for Engagement Learning
The mission is to provide area professionals and businesses with the resources, educational opportunities and services they need to remain competitive in today's workplace. UW-Sheboygan offers a wide variety of new programs in the areas of foreign culture, language and politics, human resources, executive management, Special Education (for teachers), health and wellness in the workplace, youth programming, and much more.
Wisconsin Department of Commerce
The Customized Labor Training Fund provides training grants to businesses that are implementing new technology or production processes. The program can provide up to 50 percent of the cost of customized training if it is not available from the Wisconsin Technical College System.
Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development
The Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development (DWD) provides resources for employers regarding where to find workers as well as information on employment law.
