Sheboygan County Economic Development Corporation Announces Someplace Better Rebranding, New Website and Features
SHEBOYGAN, WI — The Sheboygan County Economic Development Corporation (SCEDC), a public-private partnership leading economic, community, and workforce development efforts in Sheboygan County, announced today that it has completed a significant rebranding for Someplace Better.
The SCEDC is an organization that strives to identify and address barriers to growing businesses and communities within Sheboygan County. Lending a helping hand to talent as they make the transition in their work, home, and lifestyle. Whether it’s starting a business, advancing their career, or simply wanting to live better– Someplace Better can help everyone find their place here in Sheboygan County
With the rebranding and launching of a new website, additional resources were added to help with employment for workers and employers. With a variety of information about Sheboygan County, visitors to the site can browse the different communities to live in, explore the culture, and see what’s nearby. Someplace Better is a hub for all the offerings in Sheboygan County for you to live, work and belong.

The “Live” section of the website allows visitors to explore the important aspects of life, from education and health care to the economy and bustling start-up scene. Work: Along with the rebranding, additional features such as a county-wide employer database and talent community to connect talent with local businesses have been added. The SCEDC Talent Community is a way to enhance your job search and connect with local businesses throughout Sheboygan County. The website’s “Employers” page features many of these businesses in great detail, allowing talent to explore the many different career options within our unique economy.
