SCEDC and Dynamic Partner for SomeplaceBetter Revamp

SHEBOYGAN COUNTY, WI — The Sheboygan County Economic Development Corporation (SCEDC) has contracted the Sheboygan-based digital marketing agency Dynamic to redesign and rebrand the talent recruitment website SomeplaceBetter. Dynamic is currently in the process of the SomeplaceBetter revamp, with completion due in Fall 2021.
In 2014, the SCEDC and the Sheboygan County Chamber partnered to develop SomeplaceBetter. The goal of SomeplaceBetter was to support long-term talent recruitment needs by developing and implementing a unique campaign that would encourage talent to relocate to Sheboygan County. In 2020, the SCEDC found that SomeplaceBetter was not meeting all the needs of the talent recruitment process and that it could be redesigned to be more beneficial for Sheboygan County employers and the talent they were seeking to hire.
For 2021-2023, The SCEDC established four main objectives. These objectives are to increase the working aged population, expand diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts, strengthen talent development, attraction, and retention, and provide affordable housing to single families. Recreating Someplace Better so that it can be more useful in the talent recruitment process is a crucial part of meeting those objectives.
Dynamic devised a multi-phase approach to make SomeplaceBetter more functional, user-friendly, and appealing. Dynamic is a team of professionals who provide strategy, content, creative, and development services to help organizations thrive. The agency has collaborated with UW colleges, American Orthodontics, Sargento Foods, Blue Harbor Resort, and several other prominent organizations.
Dynamic will develop a new website that combines several unique features to help boost community engagement and attract more talent. Among some of the website enhancements are improved overall performance and usability, social network integration, a stronger sense of belonging, talent community development, and life decision making content blocks.
The SCEDC is dedicated to making Sheboygan County a thriving community that motivates, inspires, and attracts new talent. Recreating SomeplaceBetter is a big step toward achieving that as well as the SCEDC’s four major 2021-2023 objectives.
