New Housing Development in Sheboygan County Addresses Shortage and Supports Workforce Growth - Now Available for Purchase
Sheboygan, WI - The Sheboygan County Economic Development Corporation (SCEDC) and Forward Fund are thrilled to announce that homes in the Founders’ Pointe subdivision are now available for purchase. Recognizing the housing shortage in Sheboygan County and throughout Wisconsin, the SCEDC has taken proactive steps to address this issue by facilitating the development of new neighborhoods across the county.
The first project is the fifty-four home Founders' Pointe subdivision, which offers an exciting opportunity for individuals and families to secure quality housing and become part of the vibrant Sheboygan County community. The initial four homes are now available for purchase. Moving forward, interested buyers can expect approximately four (4) homes to be released for sale each month. 
Located just minutes away from key amenities such as quality schools and major employers, the homes in Founders' Pointe offer a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and community. These homes not only meet the immediate housing needs but also will contribute to filling the over 2,000 open high-paying production positions available in the County.
"We are thrilled to announce homes are ready for sale in Founders' Pointe subdivision along with the City of Sheboygan Falls providing up to a $65,000 down payment program to support home ownership in this subdivision," said Brian Doudna, Executive Director of the SCEDC. "This and future developments will provide entry-level housing options for those seeking to move into the county while enjoying high wages, low cost of living and the incredible amenities found in Sheboygan County."
Due to the anticipated demand and to accomplish the mission of the housing initiative, the SCEDC will implement a Home Buyer Selection Process based on various factors. Prospective buyers must be certified by a lender for mortgage approval to be eligible to purchase a home in Founders' Pointe.
